Oh man, they just switched 1st and 2nd in the W1500! Looks like Turova beat Jacobs--as you say, what a race. |

TRD takes the Head-to-Head lead with Marion Jones stunning 190.55 pts to Chandra Sturrup's 81.89.
TRD 267.07_____FW 171.88
Enjoy it while you can -- a few minutes in the lead is better than none! |

Like i keep saying ... Knowing how ot race is as important, or maybe more so, than being able to run fast !!!!! |

Marion won the race, but wasn't able to put the kid (Lawrence) away !!! 10.84 to 10.95 ... When Marion and P-Block get together it is going to be one very interesting race !!!!
The track seems fast ... I look for Mo to go 9.85 |

Wow!!! Larry Wade beat Anier Garcia in the 110H.
Wade's 1st place 13.19 give TRD 182.9 needed pts and a final score of 449.97.
Extends the temporary lead to 278.09 over FW. |

Yeah, baby!!! Big points in the women's 100 and men's high hurdles, but I've got nothing coming in the men's vault, women's 3k, or men's 100... Micah's 1-2 finish in the women's 3k will surely bury me. Dang, Teter and AJ really let me down...
If I'm not mistaken, you're non-scorers are looking better...

Fantastic Women's 3000m --
Szabo's 1st of 8:21.42 beats Radcliffe's 8:22.20.
FW pick up a whopping 379 pts. Looks like the head-to-head is over--but Dan's team got ripped off when Teter didn't run. Congrats to Micah.
(Sorry if that was obnoxious, wanted to try a head-to-head running commentary once to see how it turned out.) |

Wow, did I call it or what?! Steve, you ended up moving a spot despite not catching Bruce. You and Omar might be the only 2 people that have moved up every week, but Pedro's consistency atop the leader board has been nothing short of amazing. Micah's strong showing today moved him up several spots and puts me in the position of needing some great performances over the last 4 meets to catch him... At least I only slipped 2 spots with my paltry 3 competitors. Conway ... my condolences. You had the people there, just in the wrong events...
Thanks for the "running" commentary, that was fun.

Outstanding commentary!!!
Looks like the blind squirrel found another nut. That 3000 was the key race as far as points go.
Would K'nacher's race be considered the most significant performance of the meet? It could be that a lot of questions were answered there. |

Following the commentary has been fun. It even gets a non-participant like myself thinking about getting involved next year.

That's what we need more of!!
Close to 400 signed up, but only 150 of those had valid email addresses and bothered to set up a roster...

Somewhere along the line that blind squirrel found his eyesight !!!! Participation is what makes this fun ... Even when your team is down and out ... Like mine !!
Unfortunately the meets tend to be at a bad time for a lot of people ... I'm fortunate in that I use a computer for most of my work ... But not everyone is that fortunate ...
But this has been great so far ... And will only get better ... Thanks Dan .. |

You're welcome, and thanks to everyone that's participated.
Good point about work-time, I hadn't really considered that. I'm so used to being at the computer all the time and not having a boss looking over my shoulder...
