According to Joggers Digest (aka Runners World) on line Geb has been diagnoised with a ruptured calf and will not compete on the track at all this summer.

OUCH!!! 
Fortunately, from the contest's standpoint, he was not availble to be selected. He only ran the 10k last year, and that is not one of our contested events.
There are several other athletes out for the year, though...
