My stride rate is 394 per min.
And my stride length is 4 feet,oh ya my 100m
time is 11.53.. its handtimed timed so I dont
know if its correct.Well what i want to know is
how can i improve my stride length,and everytime i try to make my steps longer my stride rate slows
down.so how can i improve?oh ya im 14,and i lift
does that have to do anything with the stride lenght

4 feet? How tall are you? Are you sure that measurement is correct?
You're correct that lengthening the stride runs the risk of slowing down the turnover. The trick is finding the right balance of the two. Hills, both up and down, strength work, and flexibility can all lead toward a better stride.

Increased flexibility and strength will help increase your stride length .. But like Dan I would be more interested in a few things like your height and wight and what kind of sprinter you are - light on your feet, power, etc ... |
