what time do you think a adult male would have to run in the 800m and the 1500m to represent a country like the us or the uk? |

Right now, just finishing the race would be sufficient! Seriously though, about 1:45 seems to be the current mark for the 800. The 1500 has a much wider range, 3:32 (not of late) to 3:36.

represent where? the olympics or the world championships? then yeah. But you could represent the US or the UK in lesser events, like the goodwill games, with worse times.
