That's why I always liked the 800 ... first time around, you're on the last lap. No matter how delirious I was, I always managed to keep count!

Yeah Paul I have seen that site as well the Whopper Watch was great...

As far as your daughter Micah I am very interested in how it turns out for her. Building my own littl etraining plans and such always good to get more input - as for the lap thing I always get that confused and if I do I always go with the lower number so I am happy when I actually time them that my watch has a little lap # displayed along with the times otherwise when I did that same workout as Paul I would have been in trouble...

Almost Forgot -

RACE REPORT

Well I ran my usual local 5K again this year and for the 5th year in a row I set a PR - I was hoping to go under 19 - but it was not in that cards today pretty chilly, light rain and gusty winds played some part but I think part is also not being used to running that fast even though I seem to be able to do it - I feel like I have broken through a sort of barrier recently and by body can do things it was not abl eto do before my brain almost is playing catch up - I don't know if that makes sense but I get out there and then think (theres the problem right) Oh can I do this.. the answer seems to be yes I can but it is taking me a bit to get there if you know what I mean... anyway first mile 6:07, second 6:14, third 1.1 was 6:47 so fairlt consistant just need to fix that middle mile up finsihed in 19:08 which is almost 40seconds faster than my best (which was last year my only 5K last year)

Excellent race!!!!

Sounds like you are ready to go under 19. You just need a reasonable course and nice weather and it is a done deal. Very Happy

Yeah I was hoping that he took it a split second later - would have been one of those floating above the ground pictures but over all I was happy with it! I have to try to get him to get me a lower res digital copy maybe.
