Anyone else look at the XC results? It appears that the new generation is coming on. I was a little suprised to see Webb in the race but I guess he just can't get cross country out of his system. Which I think is a good thing. Now the question is whether he will go to the World Champs. _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |

I didn't catch all of the results, but the ones I skimmed seemed about right. Any surprises I might've missed? I saw Buttry did quite well once again.

No big surprises. And I don't think we should be suprised by Buttry any more. I believe she is the real deal. _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |

I apologize for getting those results to you a few days late. Broe had a very good weekend. I think Webb enjoys this as part of his base training. Plus, he can spend some time at the Nike campus which makes Knight happy. Goucher and Ritz had good races. I will assume everyone knows Goucher is in Portland training with Salazar. Things are also heating up in Eugene as far as the distances. Pat Tyson has been mentioned as a possible distance coach candidate.
If I hadn't gotten sick, I would have run in these myself. I'm sure I would have graced the bottom of the 55-59 division. You can check with Dan about how pathetic I appeared in the National Club Championships in December. _________________ Paul

I actually hadn't heard that.

Team XO put on a pretty good show...

Those rumors appear to be pretty serious, from what I've heard.

Yeah, but I didn't see anyone challenging you to a power lift-off.

Team XO did quite well. Kezes might actually make one of the World teams as others drop out. Broe has already said he has other committments. Don't know if Webb will run at the World's.
I had trouble just "lifting" myself out of the muck that day. _________________ Paul

I believe Salazar has several athletes that did well at the XC champs. I need to go back and research it. _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |
