I missed most of the stuff from the past 10 days, being without electricity and alll... I didn't see the 4x100 women's final, but I saw the 1st round and it was obvious how much Marion was holding the team back. The other 3 blazed the competition, but she either held steady or lost ground to the field and looked bad doing it. Not at all surprising what transpired in the final.

Damn, I bet I know who was feeling better at the finish...

Agreed ... After seeing the team run in the first round it was CLEAR that while they ran 41.6 for the second time, that the US Was capable of the record WITHOUT her !!!!
Her being on the team was an obvious "pity" move to try to get her a medal ... And in the end she cost the other three girls THEIR medal !!!! And then she refused to accept ANY responsibility at all with her "we run as a team" crap ...
I am hoping that she retires during the off season ...
Oh ... Welcome back ... _________________ Conway

Thanks.
By the way, did anyone get a time on L. Williams' leg in the 1st round? It looked like something pretty special, but I didn't get a chance to watch a replay and see if it was just the competition that made her look fast.
