I've only got 4 in tomorrow but they should score big points. We'll see. _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |

I've already got one big scratch...
Dan |
And who is that ??? I'm ok ... Not great but ok ... I have JJ Johnson, Kim Gaevert, Tonique Williams, and William Yampoi ... But they should all score well ...
the Trials has hurt this meet - not just for this game but in general ... Not many Americans ... And with some other Trials just ended - Jamaica for example - others are resting from a hard competition ... _________________ Conway

Elvan Abeylegesse was listed as a late scratch. I've still got Thomas and Zakari in the 100, Sullivan and Willis in the 1500, Gevaert in the 100, Guevara and Amertil in the 400, and Sacramento in the 1500. Other than Guevara, mostly just a bunch of hopefuls.
Entries are now closed, so we'll see how things shake out tomorrow...

Ouch..... just when I noticed the Rome preview stating 'It is rumoured that Abeylegesse will not race again until Athens' I also noticed our fantasy teams have been locked down!

That's unfortunate. At least she's one of the bargain purchases, so a couple good races should still be of solid value.

How can this be?
El G takes 8th. I was counting on him for a win.  _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |

Some of my picks aren't now looking as well as I hoped they would... but at least I have Rashid Ramzi on my team. He looks like the best buy ever - 3:30.25 and win, all for $65 |

Ditto on Ramzi. I'll have to look up how many people selected him. Definitely the diamond in the rough on my roster. Willis just missed a scoring spot, which would have made a coup for my 1500 squad. Surprised by Guevara getting 2nd, but I can't complain with how my group that competed performed. Fast times in a number of the races.
I just got back after being out all afternoon. I'll post an update when I've got the meet scored and posted.

Results are now posted:

Looks like we've got a few people like last year who picked rosters based on the meet #1 start lists... We'll see if it plays out the same way this time around.
I can't believe I'm sitting in 29th place. I think I only barely snuck into the top 100 the two previous years! There are a few athletes I passed on that I knew I would regret...

No worries, that's right around where I normally start out.

Great meet in Rome and couple of very big upsets.
I was very happy with my team after putting some effort into putting it together last night.
Correct me if I´m wrong, but didn't Sileshi Sihine take second in the 5000m? |

I checked the scoring a little bit better and the scoring for the 5000m men seems to be incomplete! I trust Dan will correct that soon?
Or maybe not, he doesn't have anyone in that event, so there may be some special rules there |
