Kenenisa Bekele set his second world record within just over a week, when he set a new world record for the men's 10k by running 26:20.31 to erase Haile Gebrselassie's six-year-old mark of 26:22.75, running within the Ostrava meet last night...
Once again Bekele ran the final stages of the race alone, as he did when setting the 5k record. He was a bit behind schedule (pace-wise) within the first half of the race, but roared back to smash the record by more thna 2 seconds...I had the pleasure of watching the race on live TV, and, even though I am a religious sprint fan, the race was astonishing...
One question remains, can he possibly win as many titles as Geb did within his prime years on the track???

I wouldn't put it past him, as he's quite young and not averse to doubling. He also has less competition than Geb did back in the day.
