is elbow pain common when u first start lifting weights? I went to my friends house and did some bench pressing and about two days later worked out with my own weights at home and my elbow (right one paticulary, left one isnt as bad) has felt sore and tender. Only when i extend the arm really and it feels sore around the meaty area twoards the top of your arm if your palm is down.

That sort of aggravation can happen from lots of things, weight lifting included. If a bit of rest and ice eases the discomfort, then there probably isn't anything to be worried about.
