Does anybody have any experience running in either Myrtle Beach or Gastonia, NC? We are traveling to each for spring break and I am looking for info about any bike paths my kids can ride on while I run. I have tried a couple of searches but can't find much info. _________________ 7/10/03 - 325

I've got a hunch Micah can help you out...
If not, have you tried www.runtheplanet.com ?

Hey BigFE, I haven't been to Gastonia but I have run in Myrtle Beach. That is one of the places where you can have a fairly comfortable run on the beach itself. Early morning would be best before it gets too hot. Also, make sure you do an out and back so your body gets the slant of the beach on both sides. The angle isn't too bad but it is there.
Be careful of the Calabash Seafood Houses. They are all-you-can-eat buffets and you can hurt yourself there! _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |
