Does anybody have any experience running in either Myrtle Beach or Gastonia, NC? We are traveling to each for spring break and I am looking for info about any bike paths my kids can ride on while I run. I have tried a couple of searches but can't find much info.

I've got a hunch Micah can help you out...

If not, have you tried www.runtheplanet.com ?

Thanks a lot Dan. That site is great and it definitely is an addition to my favorites list.

Hey BigFE, I haven't been to Gastonia but I have run in Myrtle Beach. That is one of the places where you can have a fairly comfortable run on the beach itself. Early morning would be best before it gets too hot. Also, make sure you do an out and back so your body gets the slant of the beach on both sides. The angle isn't too bad but it is there.

Be careful of the Calabash Seafood Houses. They are all-you-can-eat buffets and you can hurt yourself there! Surprised Very Happy
