That's not a bad pace with walking mixed in. Nice length, too. Thumbs Up

As Dan knows, if someone isn't pacing me, my splits are all over the place. Micah, sounds like you're coming around again, and the foot is not giving you any trouble.
Wed's w/o 4x600 2:05 5 min jog between reps. By myself, 37 deg weather, snow on the ground.

Went out at lunch today and did 4.3 in 40 minutes for a 9:13 pace. Not bad considering the cold weather. It was all the way down to 56 but at least the sun was shining. Laughing

I think we got up close to 56 today, which would be about 25 degrees higher than Saturday...

I cleaned the gutters in a hail storm yesterday. I'm pretty sure that's a safety hazard. Neutral

I've never heard of someone so dedicated to cleaning their gutters. Confused

They were really dirty. Smile Actually, it was sunny when I started, and I figured it was the best weather I'd get all week...

I did mine the day before it snowed last week. It has been a strange Fall, here. All the leaves fell in one day! I count my lucky stars that I was able to get that done before the weather took a real turn for the worse.

I'll second that. I haven't mowed my lawn since late spring or early summer. It got so hot and dry, the grass stopped growing early. Then it stayed in the 80's until late fall and instantly dropped into the 40's by the time the rain came, so it was pretty much winter and it went dormant. The trees got caught up in the same confusion, holding onto their leaves most of the fall. With all the rain and wind storms lately, boy have the leaves been coming down with a vengeance. I could've used a snow plow to dig all those pine needles out of the gutters... My driveway is in danger of becoming a full time slip-n-slide, despite my best efforts to keep it clear.

My house is near the top of a big hill and all the trees in my backyard are down a bank so my house is actually above the trees. No leaves anywhere Razz

Count yourself lucky. I've got the hill factor, but the trees around me have gotta be around 100' high. 2 of them have fallen on my house over the years...

Um, is this Micah's running thread or the weather channel? Smile

Ouch! A tree in the house is even worse than dirty gutters. Sad

I had a good Thanksgiving in north Georgia visiting the parents. I did 8 very hilly miles and then sat in the truck while the daughter finished 12 very hilly miles.

Back in the flat lands today where I did 5 at a 9:20 pace which isn't too bad considering the amount of turkey, ham, dressing, deviled eggs, squash casserole, potato salad, green beans, rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, biscuits, sausage, gravy and scrambled eggs I consumed over the past three days.

I'm sooooooo fat.... Surprised

She put in 20? Definitely gearing up for the big M...

Sounds like you both ate more and ran more than me this weekend. Smile

It probably won't be often that I'll run more than anyone on the forum but I probably do out eat most everyone....except maybe Conway....? Wink

Or Ranger G...that weekend we met at Quantico he matched me fork for fork....and since he is a little smaller than me I guess he won... Surprised
