That's a valid concern. They look to be in good shape, at least. And if they do cloud up, it'll still be better than the goofy unframed glass panes that I'm always worried I'll shatter when I slide them open or closed.

Definitely. Even if its longevity wasn't that long, it would be worth putting in.

The trails may be easier on the feet, but the roads are definitely faster! |

Well, I was going to get a run in last night on the treadmill, but the darn thing refused to start. Powered up, but no go... I'm hoping it was a one-time thing and not an indication that it's a fair weather treadmill, seeing as how foul weather is when I figure it will be most useful.

It might be in need of some mtce. Seeing as how it probably wasn't used much by its previous owners. Maybe running it once a day for a few minutes might enhance the cold weather performance. It's not fused anywhere, is it? (By fused, I mean a blown fuse operating the belt.) _________________ Paul

mtce? Oh, maintenance?
I'm not sure about fuses for the belt. I haven't tried taking it apart and looking inside it yet... I did find a manual for it that I can order online, but the shipping price was rather ridiculous and they didn't have that particular manual in downloadable format. I might have to look at that again, though.

Tried again and no change, but I haven't taken it apart to look for a blown fuse or anything. I'm taking some time off from running to see if I can regroup, so there's no rush...

Dan,
Did you check the outlet? If there is a GFI on it, it may have tripped and would not show up at the breaker box.
Sorry I have been AWOL folks...moved back into the rebuilt house and am still putting things away. I am also now a grandfather...as my daughter just had a 7 lb 3 oz boy. Sleep is sorta out of the question for a while
I did the Maine Half in 2 hours 20.....it would have been 2 hours 10, except I had a "call of nature"..darn
After the half..5k's seem like nothing
Still with the GF and things are going very well.

Nice to hear from you, it's been a wihle. Congrats on the little noise maker!
No GFI on the treadmill's outlet, but I know it's getting power just fine. The controls power up fine, just the tread doesn't turn.

Congratulations, RG!! Glad to hear from you, glad to hear you are moving back into your house, and glad to hear you and the GF are still together!
You've got some catching up to do. Has anyone heard from Jafar, recently.
By the way, NIKE has reissued the Pegasus Storm for the winter.
