Gaines ate Edwards lunch all season except for the trials ... Today was the Moscow Challenge meet ... A three way tie for #1 among the men ???

Do you have a head to head for Gaines and Edwards? I thought they were pretty even other than the couple big times Gaines popped at the end.

I thought the season officially ended with the World Athletics Final...

Like with the 2nd spot in the men's 1500, no one stood out to me. I mean, you've got Brown winning the biggest race but invisible the rest of the season. The top US runners at the beginning of the season aren't the top ones at the end of the season. Chambers and MLF spend the year back pedalling, Collins and P. Johnson keep teasing us, etc. Whoever you pick for 6th, an equally strong case could be made for them as 1st or 2nd.
