I have trained very vell for the last couple of months, and my training times on the intervalls has improved. the last week i increased both my milage and intensity a bit. Yesterday i ran a good intervallsession(the times where great), but felt tired in my legs during the session. the problem started when I was going to sleep. I couldnt sleep very well, and I felt sluggish the next day. I slept during the whole nigth i think, but i felt that i didnt got a "good" sleep. And it felt as my body temperature was higher than normal.
So I wonder if that is a typical sign from the body, that it needs some days recovery. I dont want to get the "overtrainig syndrome" so i will now take 3 days of. But I also wonder if it is normal to not sleep very well after hard/much training, and not a sign of overtraining?

I've been dealing with some similar stuff myself the past few days. When you hit a high training level, your metabolism tends to shoot up and stay elevated for several hours (up to 17 hours at its highest level, according to some studies). That's probably why you had a hard time getting to sleep. Once you become accustomed to the training level, that tends to settle down a bit and allow you to get into a good routine.
It's a fine line between trying to ride out that wave of improved conditioning -- that's where some of the biggest improvements come -- and not overdoing it.
