I'm not Conway (!) but hopefully I get to comment too.
Let's not get carried away with Macro, as many Canadians are. It was a good win over Montgomery but he needs to run 10.03 at sea level before we can take him seriously as a contender.
He is the latest to be tagged as potential first-white-man-under 10.00, being of Greek origin. That label has proven to be more of a millstone in recent years (Nagel, Shirvington, Mackie) - I hope Macro can deal with that.
Next super sprinter? Unlikely. WC finallist? Possibly.

I have to agree with Justin .. Altitude times and sea level times are usually very different ... Macro has defniitely made a move early this season ... I'm more impressed with the victory than the time casue he beat some good sprinters ... THAT was important ... But next super sprinter ???? Not hardly ... Guys like MLF, Gatlin, Bolt, Christian, they would bear that tag ...
But back to Macro ... Being faced with the potential to be the first non-black under 10 has been more of an anchor than a help ... I think if guys just try to be competitive - like Maacro was int aht race - then sub 10 will come .... It will have to .... And personally I expect one of the Japanese to get there ... And quite possibly this year ....
And yes I did compete as a sprinter once upon a time .... _________________ Conway
