| I've got a big sore lump right below my kneecap. It has been there for a long time, and is quite painful to put any pressure on. Any ideas on what it is? |

Two guesses would be swelling or broken off cartilage floating around. At any rate, anything of that sort warrants getting it checked out by someone that knows what they're talking about, i.e. a doctor.
