I don't know why Deena Drossin is not played up more in the media as a woman who is both fit and pretty.
Check out the pictures of her. She is a babe.

Hey Leechboy,
Here's another picture for your viewing pleasure. Doesn't look quite so healthy or camera friendly there. Seriously though, I would guess a large part of the reason is her reputation as somewhat of a recluse.

Ohhhh, my friend. Cross country...no one looks pretty.
Actually from what I hear, she is quite friendly. She always says good things about the gals on her team - Glusac(wet and wild but a little too thin for my tastes - http://www.mensracing.com/photos/parkersburg01/park05.jpg) and Rhines(another fast babe -http://www.flynnsports.com/photos/photo023.jpg .

Leechboy, now here is a topic near and dear to my heart. Check the FILA West website if you want to see some babes! Also, look at the Fast Women website and find Donna Garcia and Michelle Lafleur. I have seen them in person and they are as beautiful as they are talented.

Crain is gotta be one of the fittest athletes out there, and I mean fit in a healthy sense, not just skinny (unlike someone else mentioned in this thread).

She ran at our invite this past spring and at the US nationals in Eugene, but I don't recall seeing her in any other local meets. Might be worth checking the results for Pre and adidas. Not sure about pictures.

Ok .. ASide from looks the intriguing thing about her is that she works full time at a professional job while trying to train and compete ... Wonder what she could do with some backing and more training time ?? |

She's in her 30's, isn't she? I thought I remember hearing 34, but I'm not sure about that. Hmm, even the USATF bios page doesn't have her listed. It appears the track world doesn't know she exists...

Ahead in what respect?
If gh gave you a column, that would probably require acknowledging you...
