I have been told that sports drinks are no
substitude for water, but i see these articles
in mags and books that says sport drinks like
gatorade helps you have a better game.so what
should i drink before and after races. |

Find out if the "articles" are trying to sell you something, and that should tell you all you need to know... Also, keep in mind that most things you here are referring to sports where raw performance is not the measuring stick, i.e. team sports where skill is more important than performing performing at 100%. As such, what works for many sports may lead to side aches and bad times with running. When in doubt, keep it simple -- water.

Yes, off course sports drinks are not substitute of the pure water and fresh fruits juices.
It will be better to drink the pure water and fresh fruits juices during the sports to get energy and mineral for the sports. _________________ Rutherford Health Club |
