What is the best food for recovering after hard run and in what time frame? |

It is recommened to eat complex carbohydrates (such as pasta) within 30-60 minutes after exercising.

Yes, pasta is very good to eat after, I used to eat a whole pack of Linguine after I ran. It is full of carbs and protein, but watch out, dont eat too much or you will gain weight fast. I am one of those skinny guys that can't gain weight, but after eating a bunch of linguine every night I gained a few pounds in a week. It is very good to drink a gatorade type drink after a hard day as well, but it isn't necesary. |
