I recently bought a pair of the new Brooks Ghost 4 running shoes as my old Asics were just about done for. I never usually have a problem when switching running shoes but when I go running with these new shoes I find that my calves really hurt after about 6 miles. Do I have dodgy shoes or should I just man up and get used to them??

I would rotate shoes so you aren't in the new ones every day. That might help your feet and lower legs get accustomed to them. Also, try running on different surfaces and see if there's something specific causing the calf soreness.
