Sounds EPO-like. Huge increase in endurance (i.e. aerobic capacity), but surprisingly little affect on speed (pace).

Its not really that surprizing that its possible if you think about how your body makes itself stronger after workouts naturally. I gueess they figured out how to trigger that response. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. It sounds like it will be a long time before they can do it in humans.
Kind of cool though, the training effect in a pill. |

The What is the easy part. It's the How that's the head scratcher... Can it increase endurance 70% on top of actual training? Or is there a maximum improvement ceiling, regardless of whether you train or take the drug?
I wouldn't be so sure about it being a long time before we see it gain human use... Many performance enhancing drugs have legitimate medical uses and are often acquired on the black market. It's not hard to imagine someone being willing to risk it on themselves, given the potential improvement.
