Not only can he run, but I bet he is intelligent, witty, incredibly good looking, a gentleman without reproach and remembers to call his mother every Sunday.

And obviously the spinters could benefit from a good hill! Smile

Dan, I notice you have a Micah on your team.

Yep. Micah doesn't seem to be an overly uncommon name around here, which is why I asked.

He's got to be an outstanding individual with a name like that!!!

He's actually an underachiever...

You lost me... Who are you referring to?

Hey, it's my job to be annoyingly vague. Sad

...speaking of hills, and I realize this may not be the right Topic to post this, but do I understand correctly that Bill Dellinger is not big on hill training??

I've never heard anything about that, one way or the other.

Conway, I still haven't a clue...

Good grief, you expected me to get that? That would have required paying attention and mind reading, neither of which I had any intent of doing... Smile

I'm from England and the best US runner is Shorter. End of story. The best British runner? Dave Moorcroft, Steve Cram or Seb Coe. They don't make them like that any more.

...was definitely El Caballo, Alberto Juantorena. The only man ever to win both the 400 and 800 in modern T&F. That feat is undeniably amazing.

Wow .. Why so definitivew on Shorter ?? Not arguing with you, just curious .. I've always liked Shorter .. Just not sure I would say that hands down he is the best American ever ...

In a global sense I too loved Juantorena .. He was far ahead of his time without a doubt .. But I think too many people have accomplished more, to list him as the greatest ever ..
