This should put NJ Wholesale Garden Mall on the road runners'
shopping map of "January—February:"
Due to the decline of the working and lower middle class economy
within the Union County, and the economic decline within New Jersey
as well as due to the increase in the gas prices and subsequent
increase in the bus fairs over the last 5 years, your mall has not
been popular.
I believe that I do have an idea to increase the popularity of your
mall and raise awareness amongst people both to the south of
Elizabeth (both bus lanes # 62), and to the north of the city (both
bus lanes # 24).
I believe that you should organize the first annual in—mall "road"
race during the month of December when very few races are run, or
during the month of January when sells goes down significantly. I do
believe that you should limit the number of entrants to 400 at most
giving at least 40 spots for locals, and limit the race to two loops
around the upper and lower floors of the mall due to possible
overlapping of the slowest runners by the fastest runners. Moreover,
I do believe that prices for the top 3 finishers should be
significant (e.g., starting from at least 500 dollars for the 1st man
and woman), but the prices to the next 7 top 10 finishers and the top
three in each gender--based age--group finishers should be in form of
different amounts of in—store credits, and coupons (in-store credit
is preferable, since people hate coupons). The entry fee can be
rather high (e.g., $ 20 to $ 30 dollars; however offs should be
offered to the USATF-NJ members, and early bird entrants as well as
alpha list of entrants should be posted on the Internet). Half-the-
proceeds, after the organizational cost is paid off, should go
towards sponsoring a free ride at 1100 and returning from Elizabeth
at 1900 (7 p.m.) on both 24 bus lanes and both 62 bus lanes on the
very Sunday, and on the next Sunday. The other half-of-the proceeds
should go towards some charity or foundation.
This event should put the New Jersey Wholesale Garden Mall on the
road runners' shopping map of the "January—February", in particular,
and the people's of New Jersey and New York City shopping "Winter"
map, in general.

PS
If you use my idea please make a shout out for me with wishes of all
the best to Traffic and Violations Division' 2003 for what they have
tried to do for me in January, 2003: attempting to reason with and
acting in my best interest with people who cannot be reasoned with,
and who believe themselves to be invincible and beyond good and evil,
any ethics, any morals, and slightly beyond the reach of law.
Thank You
