I was just wandering at what age a athlete reaches their natural peak, I was thinking its 25-30 as you are fully grown and at full strength by then.

That sounds about right, maybe starting closer to 28.

It also depends on the distance (assuming we're talking about runners here).
I think usually a sprinter would peak earlier than a marathoner, and a middle distance runner is somewhere in between. I'm only basing that on the fact that speed develops earlier than endurance, rather than actual evidence. |
