Color of the urine is generally the best indicator of proper hydration. It should be nearly clear. The darker it is, the worse your hydration level.
When trying to find the balance point between dehydration and having to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes (especially troubling while exercising), it works well to tank up early in the day and slowly back off as you get closer to workout time. In time, you'll figure out what works best for you and fine tune things.

Your body also shunts blood toward areas that require more of it during exercise, and away from areas that don't require as much. This phenomenon might be more active in your case than in other people.
This is also one of the great strengths of circuit training. You have this shunting of blood to various areas for a short period of time as you move from exercise to exercise. So you get this tremendous circulation going throughout your entire body. _________________ Paul
