when using a treadmill, can holding onto the bars occasional be considered "cheating". If I did a 5 minute mile on a treadmill set at 1% incline to compensate for air resistance, would that be any different than running a 5 minute mile at a track? |

1) No more so than holding onto someone's back as they tow you up a hill...
2) Some will say yes, some will say no, and anyone who tells you one way or the other definitively is talking out of their butt...
