___I want to say hello to all my friends, again. I am ashamed of my 13-teenth place in the WAF prediction contest because so few people participated -- I made it up to myself with the 33rd place in the Track and Field Fantasy League at www.run-down.com out of 198 participants. I know that PAVVKA has done better, but I am closing on him -- until next year.
___I hope that Plip is still around -- I hope that he has not been banned again. He has been such a good friend over the years at these fora.

Bialystok is the capitol of the Podlasie province. It grew from 80 000 people by World War One to almost 300 000 people as of today - - 2004.
It is the only major city, except for Lomza at the boundary between Podlasie and Mazovia, over 100 miles away, within a province that is known for its Eastern East Prussian or East Mazurian lakes in the north, post glacial, great wild life preserve -- forest in the South East -- European Bufflo or Wisent is present, and rather large private farms (90% of farms in the area have been private since 1956).
