My roster looks solid, but probably not strong enough to make up the ground I lost last meet.

100 - Powell, Zakari (?), Crawford
200 - Crawford, Obikwelu
1500 - Webb
100w - L. Williams
400w - Guevara, Amertil, Trotters/Richards (?)
5k - Abeylegesse

Dan

The athletes not highlighted in yellow does that mean they qualified but aren't participating in the final? Is that the final list?

I'm not entirely sure, but my guess is those are the lists of top ranked athletes this season, thus making them eligible for inclusion in the Final. The highlighted ones are presumably those that have confirmed. In the case of Zakari, I think he's injured, so he probably opted out and they moved down to the next name on the list.

I would not expect much change in the standings as most people should have their top athletes involved ... I'd just like to maintain where I am at the point ... I feel real good about finishing this high given that I scored very little in the first meet ...

___I did OK. 33 - rd place amongst 198 paricipants makes me rather happy. I did not think that I was going to win. I hoped for the top 10 as the maximum, and for the top 40 as the minimum. I achieved the minimum goal.

I'm just happy to be in the top-100 for a change. Neutral

I started playing this Fantasy Track and Field League last year and looked forward to the 2004 start and found it even more interesting. My goal this year was to do better than I did last year when I finished either 15 th or 17th. Dan you have one of the most interesting prediction/Fantasy games in any sport. Going by the final Grand Prix Monaco list I should have the following athletes competing:

Shawn Crawford (200m)
Wilfred Bungei (800m)
Alex Kipchirchir (1500m)
Isacc Songok (1500m)
Eluid Kipchoge (3000m/5000m)
Debbie Ferguson (100m)
Tonique Williams-Darling (400m)
Olga Yegorova (1500m)
Tirunesh Dibaba (5000m)
Yelena Slesarenko (HJ)
Hestrie Cloete (HJ)

Good Luck to everyone and hope we have more players next year, I plan to spread the word on other sites-right before next track season starts.

Thanks!

That's a high powered group you've got for Meet 10. Thumbs Up Of course, that's to be expected of a top-15 participant... (That is you at #11, right?) Your group looks capable of 1500 points. Conway, watch your butt...

Always appreciated. I never feel particularly comfortable going on other peoples' sites to promote "my" stuff, but if others do so who are regulars in those communities, it is generally received just fine.

Yeah ... Looks like a lot of folks are taking their Games hardware and going home ... Has been a hard year ... And a lot of these guys really focused on the Games ...

I've felt for some time that they might as well end the season with the Games or Worlds or whatever the major meet of the season is ...

I'll try and get the results processed this evening. Just taking a quick breather from 5 grueling days of unplanned bathroom renovation...

No can do, my hands are so sore I can barely type more than a couple sentences at a time... 5 straight days of 12-17 hours per of nearly non-stop work will do that, I suppose.

I've got the resuls in, but I screwed something up in the auto-scoring for meet 10 and am way too far beyond exhaustion to think clearly enough to figure out what's wrong... Maybe tomorrow. Neutral
