Tomorrow morning, I'm heading out on vacation for a week, maybe week and a half, so I won't be able to score and post results for the 2 meets during that stretch until I get back.

Have a great time, Dan. I'll try to hold the fort down at the Alumni Run. Let's talk about some training ( drills, etc. ) when you get back. Are you taking the Miata, or has that not been resolved yet??

Read the whole thread. That is some story. Talk about leaving no stone unturned. Next time I ride in that car, it will be with reverence!! The anecdote about the letter from the Gov's office was quite intriguing. Maybe he will try to do something about bureaucracies wasting people's time. Conway will have to fill us in on that. Drive careful with all the wet weather we've been having.

Sheesh, you're not kidding! The drive up through Washington had some of the heaviest rain I've ever seen. I could barely make out the semi directly in front of me at one point... My cousin and I went for a drive on the Sunshine Coast while up in BC -- started out as a nice day, but we ran into a massive hail storm and torrential downpours that turned the roads into a 3-4" deep stream. Looked like piles of snow on the side of the road on the way back, and that wasn't even at elevation... Crazy weather. Finally nicened up enough to drop the top for the drive back last night, though.
