A young Aussie 16 year old boy, Andrew O'Neill ran 3:46.80 to break the national U18 record last week in Brisbane, Australia. This is a very fast time. Put him with 15 year old Georgie Clarke who ran 4:06 in the 1500m a couple of weeks ago (an Olympic qualifying performance) and the Aussies have a lot of middle distance talent.

Wow! Thanks for the report. I'll be very interested to see how this phenomenol junior talent carries over to the senior level...
