Nah, your group looks to be about the same. +/- 50 points.

The women's 100 and 400 are gonna swing it bigger for me ... Tonique will win again - Guevara hasn't had time to catch up and should be pointing towards an Athens peak ... And Simpson and Miller will add big points in the 100 ... I think I'll add about another 150 or so on you ...

Conway:
100 - Asafa Powell - draw
200 - Francis Obikwelu - draw
800 - William Yiampoi (+150)
1500 - Alan Webb - draw
W100 - Lauryn Williams, Sherone Simpson, Inger Miller, Kim Geveart (+150)
W400 - Tonique Williams (Darling), Sanya Richards
WHJ - Inga Babakova

Dan:
100m - Powell - draw
200m - Bolt, Obikwelu (+150)
1500m - Ramzi (+100), Webb, Willis
100m - L. Williams, Gevaert - draw
400m - Amertil, Guevara, Richards
3000m - Abeylegessee

That puts you 50 points up through the women's 100, at which point it gets a bit tougher to figure. Guevara and Williams are pretty much a toss up, with Richards being a draw and advantage going to Amertil. Abeylegesse and Babakova should be a toss up in their respective events, which makes the head to head extremely close overall.

I don't see their being a ton of extra points for Simpson and Miller to pick up, being a fuller field than we've seen thus far.

I think a fast race and Simpson and Miller placing between 3rd and 5th could swing it a bit ... Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part ...

I may not know how to pick a team, but I know how the scores work. Smile

Ouch... What time's dinner?

I am scouting out restaurants daily. Today at lunch I went to one of the places featured in Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil.[/quote]

I think, I should be able to get back to the top 30. My team for the meet is not great, but it should be enough:

100 m: Asafa Powell
200 m: John Capel
800 m: Wilfred Bungei
1500 m: Lidia Chojecka
High Jump: Hestrie Cloete
400 m: Sanya Richards

Dan can you check for me how many points should this team earn tomorrow?

I'd guess around 700. I'm not sure that'll be enough to move up this meet, as a lot of the better rosters are looking at 1,000+
