That touches unintentionally on something I've found rather amusing about the whole situation. Bailey was very outspoken against Ben Johnson, making every attempt possible to distance himself from the tainted Canadian sprinter image. Now, Montgomery hops from Johnson's old coach to Bailey's old coach in the same year, possibly supporting my long standing hunch that there was much more to Bailey's comments than anyone every cared to delve into...
