No spoiler, good to have a speedy results link.

YET ANOTHER major men's 100m into a headwind, -1.6 in this case.
**Apologies, atypical national crowing to follow***
That said, I can't fail to note that Dwain Chambers managed 10.08 into a -1.6 wind in the NC, while some good guys can't break 10.23 here.
**End of nationally biased comment***

Were they swirling winds, or did the women's 100m get run the opposite direction?

LOL good one Justin ... However we still haven't seen Dwain win a big one outside of Britain ... When he does that he'll have a shot ... But I agree .. What a slow time for a major grand prix event ... Even with the headwind ... Quite a let down year this has become ... _________________ Conway

EVeryone is quiet, so I will go ahead and ask the question ... What of Tim for the rest of the season ??? He has gone home and Worlds are only about 2 weeks off ... Will we see him in Paris ... How do you think he will perform ??? He is apparently not going to be on othe relay given the performanceof 2 US squads in Berlin ... Opinions anyone ??? _________________ Conway

Is there a chance he won't run at all? That may actually be his best option, as I doubt he'll do well if he shows up. At least then he can come up with one of his many excuses and not fail quite so bad in the eyes of his sponsors...

Yeah ... Kinda in between a rock and a hard place ... Could site mental and physical strain of what has happened ... Stress of being away from new child and Marion ... Garner some sympathy ...
OR show up and get his tail kicked ... I think A may be his best alternative at this point ... Not sure if I am the only one noticing he has gone from 9.78 to over 10 ... Not under 10 again yet ... But if he goes to Paris and comes up way short a whole lot of people will notice ... Tough spot ... _________________ Conway

I agree. Enough people are already questioning his mental makeup, they probably wouldn't be surprised enough by him not showing to really care. The others are gullible enough to buy into whatever excuse he throws out there...
I still want to know if anyone has actually seen a picture of Tim Jr.
