___I started to analyze the men's relays for the WIC'2003. I began with USA, G.B. AND N.I., and, of course, Poland.
___The analyses is rough. However, I believe reliable:
-1) no first leg performs up to his highest ability within a given year; POL--c.plus 0.05s, USA--c.plus 0.24s, and UK--c.plus 0.58s;
-2) the lousiest team in the post MJ area is UK: the second and third legs: 2 x (-1.05 off SB)--Poland, USA 2 x (-0.95), and UK 2 x (-0.54s).
My incomplete prediction:
USA: 3:02.93 (3:01.93 ) -- they will win so easily that we have to add a second, unless they want to create a GREAT post--MJ era.
POL: 3:03.87 (3:04.88 ) -- they will improve because they care the most.
G.B. and N.I.: 3:05.00 (3:04.68 :t-: ) -- they are too lousy to care. |
