The above link is to an article on the passing of Kim Gallagher, 2 time Olympian at 800 meters ... IF anyone had the chance to watch her run, it was a shame that she was never trullly at full strength ... On of the best middle distance runners ever in the US ... It is sad that she died so young ...

It just doesn't seem right for a world class athlete to die so young. I guess I tend to think of an Olympian as being almost invincible.

| I saw this last week and forgot to bring it up. She was only 38. It is quite sad to see anyone go that young. Thanks for the thread. |
