Yes he beat Bekele in that race but that race was set up for ElG - nothing taken away from Hicham he is amazing but that race was basically left for the one who could be the fastest at the end and well that was El Guerrouj
In a fast race the whole way though its Bekele hands down - taking runners in their prime though I would have gone with Geb _________________ The long run is what puts the tiger in the cat. |

Agreed. Geb was unbeatable on a good day. He had it all. Endurance, speed, front running, sit and kick...

Front as in, leading the pack. Most people prefer to run in the pack, rather than out front. It takes an aggressive (usually foolishly so) runner to lead.
