Rieti results are posted, which completes the inaugral Run-Down Fantasy Track & Field league!!! Thanks everyone for participating.
That was a doozy of a meet to finish on, with hardly a recognizable name anywhere in the results and only 6 of our chosen events being contested (I think they forgot to tell the fans that only the 1500 was being run for real), but the unpredictability added some drama to the final rankings...

Until next time...

Dan, Congratulations on a well run Fantasy League. It was a lot of fun. I did much better than expected. Specifically, I never expected to beat you and Conway. I think we all may have learned some things about picking our teams. Any chance that we will see an indoor league?

Thanks. We did indeed learn a lot!
A number of people have asked about Indoor and NCAA games, but that will require a much different athlete selection and scoring process (no athlete database to pull from for NCAAs and no scoring system in place for Indoors), but there are a few months before then for brainstroming such things...

Yes the league was quite fun ... IN spite of my own failings ... ... That's ok I'll rebound next time ... So let the brainstroming begin ... What's next ???

Well, we've got lots of ideas for making next year's version bigger and better. The major question is whether there will be any intermediate contests and what form they will take...

For next year, yes. For Indoor and NCAAs, not even close...

Then I htink YOU are teh factor that has to be considered as to whether or not we do anything additional ... ONe thing to be able to use an existing structure ... Another to create a new one ... And the one thing that might make it difficult is that indoors is harder to predict who is going to compete than the Golden League !!!!
