I think that might actually have the opposite effect. Sadly, running movies generally do not appeal to anyone not already interested in running.
Prefontaine and Without Limits were gigantic flops at the box office.

We tried showing without limits to my school track team. Myself and the only other hardcore runner at my school were the only ones that didn't walk out.
Non-runners (being on a track team doesn't make you a "runner") just don't get it. |
