I just finished reading this book and was surprised to see that it mentions Steve Osaduik's (they spelled his last name two different ways and were wrong both times) name a couple times. At the time he was going to university in Arizona, so he was some of the Colorado runners' main competition. Currently, Steve is back home in Nanaimo training with me almost every day. 
He had never even mentioned that he made it to the NCAA XC champs, or that his name was in the book (which he apparently already knew). Some people are so modest. 
Anyways, just thought that was interesting. |
