Has anyone seen a date for the '03 Athens Grand Prix and Herculis Monaco?

I've got 8 meet dates set, and those two would give us a nice even 10 like last year.

6/27 - ExonMobil Bislett Games
7/4 - Meeting Gaz de France
7/11 - Golden Gala
8/5 - DN Galan Grand Prix
8/10 - Istaf Berlin
8/15 - Weltklasse Zurich
8/23 - World Champs
9/5 - Memorial Van Damme

That gives us all 6 Golden League meets (guaranteed to contain all our GL events) and the World Champs (has all the events). Fortunately, the DN Galan looks to have pretty much the GL event schedule announced, so that leaves only the 2 question marks remaining to be filled in.

I swear, the IAAF site is getting harder and harder to find info on with each revision. Used to be you could instantly get to wherever you want to go. Now I can't even find a link to the World Champs site or Grand Prix listings for this year!

Yes the IAAF site is horrible and Track and Field News has made chanegs to its site as well ... Not for the better in my opinon either ...

I'm told that the Herculis Monaco meet will not be held this year, as Monaco will be hosting the Grand Prix Final instead. And we all know we don't want to touch the GP Final again this year... Rolling Eyes

Rieti is a possible replacement, but they don't yet have 2003 info posted, either. Ah, here we go:

(that sure wasn't easy to find!) Looks like Rieti is September 7th, although we definitely still need meet info to make sure it will contest enough of the GL events...

Of those, I would think Lausanne, Norwich(s), Madrid, Helsinki, Greece(s), Zagreb, and maybe Linz would have the most potential. Anyone know specifics about those meets?

Raiffeisen Gugl-Meeting Linz/Austria - ditto.

Oh, and Tsiklitira was one of the ones I was already looking for a date on...

Lausanne usually has a fairly full complement of events ... And their sprints are almost always loaded ... And it is far enough away that individuals may acutally show and try to compete well before Worlds ...

And of course, the IAAF link I posted a couple of messages up shows the date for the Athens meet. Embarassed

So, I guess we have a full schedule of meets now, with Athens and Lausanne being slight question marks since we don't yet know what events they will contest. The other 8 look pretty solid, though.

Looks like I can move ahead with setting up the contest page...
