it looks like it'll be mid 80s during the WC, which won't be that big of a deal except for the 10k and marathon

Temperatures actually bode well for fast sprinting ... Could see above average (for this season) times during the sprints ... Thumbs Up

If there's anything that will help Maurice rise to the occasion, it's good weather. Nothing like the warmth of the sun for convincing creaky old joints and muscles to do their thing.

even though it'll be perfect weather, i'm sure Mo has a laundry list of excuses at his expense for when he loses.

I disagree. Mo doesn't really make many excuses. If he wasn't well enough prepared, he says exactly that. It's Tim who has an excuse for everything under the sun...

Anyone else doing the T&FN prediction contest? I just finished my "bracket" and feel pretty confident about my choices. I didn't pick anyone in the men's 100m because I really have no idea who the lucky one will be.
