Are there any good online running logs and training tools? All the ones I have seen seem to be pretty dry and uninspiring... |

I use an old fashioned running log purchased at the local book store. I also admit to being a cyber-neanderthal. The one I use is the Runners World Training Log. It is structured well and still leaves enough room to be as creative as you like.
I've never looked at the on line logs. I guess I just like having that book I can pick up and hold.

I'm the same way. My old runing log was coverd in funny bumper stickers, had a ton of motivational pages (the entire set of the full page "Run's End Running Doesn't" Nike ads, poems sayings ect.) old news paper articles (either about me or the people I had to race) and all the little things I wanted to put in there. All this in a black three ring binder. There are somethings that I just don't think the internet will improve upon and my running log is one of them. _________________ Time is the fire in which we burn |

If you go half way down Rambling Runners you will notice a thread I started awhile back titled Online Training Logs. A person by the name of Tuck talked about runorgy.com and he apparently liked it a lot. Graeme uses the log at coolrunning and I've used roadrunnersports.com.
Read some of those posts for more info and good luck!!

Hi
I have been using the excellent running log at www.runnerslog.com for several years now. On this site you can log just about any form of sport as well as running(extra training) and keep a mileage record on running shoes etc. |
