Hi,
I was never a runner before a few weeks ago. But I decided I wanted to do something to help get in shape, just to basically be healthier and feel better. During this time I came to learn about a group called Team in Training. TNT helps raise awareness and money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. LLS helps cancer patients not only financially but also emotionally. They help to inform new patients and connect them to an amazing network of caregivers and healthcare professionals. An estimated 957,902 Americans are living with, or are in remission from, a form of leukemia. TNT is a group of runners who train all across the country and take part in different endurance events. They run marathons, triathalons, even hike mountains! TNT has helped raise over $1 billion for LLS! Please help me in adding to this. Great cause. I am always amazed by how generous people can be when you do something like a marathon or a run to raise money for chairty.
I entered the UK IronMan triathlon last year and ended up raising £3000 for a small cardiac charity. I had no idea people could be so generous!
