|
|
I've spent the past couple hours working on an emergency upgrade of the forum, due to the latest in spammers/hackers finding a nasty exploit that could basically crash the server and all its data...
It doesn't appear any posts were lost while I've been swapping forum data back and forth.
If you see anything not operating properly, please let me know and I'll look into it. I've still got all the templating to re-do and customizations to code back in, then I get to do the whole thing two more times on other installations of the same software...

Er, thanks, but the look shouldn't be any different... When the upgrade is finished, it should look just like before, but maybe you've got something to say about that?

Ok, as far as I can tell, everything's back to the way it should be. Here's hoping no one tells me otherwise...

For a short-time it did look different...but then it changed back to the normal, which is best...
As I forgot to mention it last week, did you enjoy thanksgiving? _________________ Doubt whom you will, But never yourself.

Yes, thanks.
If people like, I could add in other template options. Lots to choose from:

There's an Olympic themed one, but it's a bit gaudy. Most of the template packs rely on massive header logos for the theme, which I don't care for, but some have a nice general look to them.

When you say template options, do you mean that each individual could use for himself, or would everyone be forced to use the option chosen ???
I took a look and there are some nice ones and some that are not bad ... Looks like you are currently using Sub Silver ... I liked the following to various degrees:
Pixeled
Ripple
Silver Xire
Smooth Blue
Soft Blue
Steel GRaphite
Swift Blue
Synapse

There's an admin option to force everyone to use the selected default, but if adding additional templates, it would make sense to give users the individual choice. I'd have to tailor them a bit to fit into the site, of course.
I'm heading out in a few minutes and won't be back till this evening, but I'll take a look at the ones you highlighted.
