Oh yes, quite a bit. I did four miles today and felt that I was moving pretty swiftly. It'll be hard to limit myself to 25-30 miles this week if I continue to feel this good, but I will!
There's an "adult" Awesome 3000 on May 1st that I'd like to participate in if everything goes well. That'd probably feel like a quick sprint.
Do you know when the next meet at McCullough is? _________________ November 9th... |

Patience...
We're hosting a small meet this Friday. Linfield is coming, plus a handful of individuals from other conference schools. After that, our big invite is the first weekend of April and a last chance meet later on. Check www.run-down.com/bearcats/ for the full schedule.

Did about 5 today for a weekly total of 29. This next week should be around 35-40 or so with a long of 7 or 8. _________________ November 9th... |

Wow, first pain free run in over 3 months! Sure it was only a mile around Willamette's track, but that's a start. I was beginning to wonder if I had enough time to reach my goal, but now I'm pretty sure I have plenty of time. Something must be wrong if Micah, Dan, and myself are all healthy are running without any pain. Hopefully it'll last.
To answer your question from other a month ago, I did go to the track meet. It was pretty entertaining, but by the second mens 5k I was pretty bored. I was going to stay for the 10k until I realized I didn't want to see some women run 25 laps at 6:30 pace. The main day was also fun for awile until the 6th heat of the mens 100 in 11 flat.
Is the upcoming track meet comparable to the previous one? _________________ November 9th... |

Now we just need an update from Paul...
The next meet will be a much smaller one, but tends to be of decent quality.
