"Leftover gold" -- this event is about to cease to exit in the world indoor championships. Urbas winning gold? Yes, he is going to as long as he will run close to his Personal Best in the semifinal, 20.55 s. After run like this, the runners in lanes 1, 2 and possible 3 in the final should be out of contention, and with a near guaranteed medal. Urbas should be able to relax, put his best, and win. Malcolm? Yes, if I remember correctly, Urbas he was Urbas's runner-up when he won the gold medal in the European Indoor Championships, or was it another British guy. Those Euros were splendid indeed, only two Brits in the final, Urbas first, Mackowiak third, Zachoval from Czech Republic fifth, and another Pole, Jedrusinski sixth in the first lane. _________________ http://vincovitanj.tripod.com/Do_not_be_a_victim1/index.htmlhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u43o595CARQ

The Possible Late Additions to the Polish National Team for the World Indoor Championships:
Marcina Jedrusinskiego (Poznan) - 200 m (He needs to get the PZLA's/Polish Federation's minimum in the Hungarian National Championships because he could not participate in the Polish national due to the change in the athletic club affiliation) i / and Magdaleny Szczepanskiej (AZS AWFiS Gdansk) - the multievent. For the WIC, the athletes are invited by the IAAF based on their performance during the outdoor 2003 and indoor 2004 seasons.

___200 m:
Sub 20.70 is going to give a person at least the second place. 20.90 will be good for second place, and the other three guys are going to be out of competition anyway because of the bad lanes: 1, 2, and 3.
___Malcolm, in particular, and the British in general, are going to try to avenge their loss to Urbas and the Poles (of whom Jedrusinski is going to participate again, and Mackowiak has retired) in the European Indoor Championships in 2002. Urbas is not a great runner, but a pragmatic runner. Both Urbas and Jedrusinski are going to clock the best times in the semifinals effectively eliminating two competitors in the lanes 1 and 2 in the final.
