Ah, the amazing feeling of "runner's high". I can only get it when it's completely dark out and I'm running down the middle of roads all by myself at a fast pace.
Sorry if I can't use 'weed' in the title of a topic.

Great, a similar family of chemicals shows up in the two cases. That could mean any number of things, especially on a sample size that small.

That's a stretch, in my opinion. They have almost exact opposite effects in terms of alertness and energy levels. Any comparison that can be made is a pretty weak one.

Similarly, I get runner's high only when it is dark outside and I'm alone (no traffic). Temps in the upper 50s through mid 60s help, too.
I may have had runner's high during the half marathon a couple weeks ago. Gonna have to try that again just to make sure. |
