First track workout since last spring (only 2nd actual workout since early in the fall, with the first being a moderate hill loop last week), 4x200m:
35.2
33.7
31.5
31.2
I had planned on starting conservatively at 40 and just see how it felt... They all felt about the same effort (hard), so I'm hopeful that's a sign my legs are starting to remember how to run, yet again...

As long as possible! I walked 200m in between, being in no real rush, enjoying the beautiful day, not wanting to over-stress my muscles first time back, etc. I was pretty taxed after the last one, but I felt like I recovered reasonably well prior to that. Of course, then I had my ~1.5 mile uphill cooldown run...

Didn't get to the 5K Saturday. But I have had two PAIN FREE two mile runs so far this week so I'm feeling good. Just staying the course with slow easy runs no more than every second day. _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |

You get to a point where a pain free run is every bit as enjoyable as a good run... Way to keep the comeback under control.

I was not involved in that case but I know the agent you are refering to. An outstanding investigator and BTW a pretty decent runner too! _________________ blah:`echo _START_ && phpbb:phpinfo(); && echo _END_` |

I haven't been on the track since that 2/25 workout, and most of my running has been absolute crap since then, but I'm finally starting to shake out of the doldrums. 23 miles over a 6 day stretch last week, and 17 miles the past 3 days at a much better pace and more continuous, with an 8 miler yesterday (matching my longest from last summer).
